- White cardstock – recommended for sturdier finished product
- Construction paper – you’ll need 1 piece of orange for the nose and 1 piece of brown for the arms
- Scissors
- Glue stick or liquid glue
- Crayons, markers, or colored pencils

How to Make the Snowman Craft

- Print the free snowman craft template on white cardstock.
- Have children carefully cut out the snowman’s body and head pieces.
- Cut out the scarf, mittens, and top hat and eyes from the template.
- Decorate each piece using crayons, markers, or other craft supplies.
- Glue the head onto the body, then attach the scarf, eyes and top hat.
- Cut out a nose from orange construction paper and glue it onto the snowman’s face.
- Cut out 2 small strips of brown construction paper to create arms. Using a small amount of glue stick the mittens to the tips of the arms. Then, glue the arms to the snowman.
- Use a black marker to add fun details like a smile and buttons.
- Allow the snowman to dry before displaying or sending it home.
